Is the integrated multifunctional car radio really better than the function-expandable one?

Multifunctional car radios replace the traditional radio functions only for car media players. Everyone knows that more function means more fun. Popular functions such as Bluetooth, navigation and radio naturally become basic functions of a car multimedia player. There is no need to elaborate on how useful and convenient they are because the overwhelming advertising has already done a great job.

New functions have been developed to make the smartphone more accessible, such as: E.g. Mirror Link. Only a few companies have successfully developed their own free version. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as third-party driving assistant APPs are gaining more followers every day. Some car radios are already integrated with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. However, there are car head units that are compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Here I made a comparison:

This is the information I found for reference. (Every choice is not easy to make, some part has to be sacrificed...)

If you are looking for information about an external Android Auto/Apple CarPlay dongle, Pumpkin NA7006B may be helpful. Other external devices such as the NA7021B digital DAB radio box are also available.
