How do you install an aftermarket backup camera?

Rear view cameras are very easy to use devices that make reversing easier and reduce the risk of accidents when parking. They can provide drivers with a way to see their blind spot no matter how dark it is or what the weather is like.

Below are the steps to install an aftermarket backup camera (not with CANBUS):

1. Place the camera at the back of the car.
2. Connect the camera video cable to the front of the vehicle.
3. Remove the car radio cover.
4. Connect the new camera cable to the CAM-IN cable.
5. Test the camera to make sure everything is OK.

Note: If you use CANBUS, you need to cut the reverse detection line (REVERSE) and connect the machine head to the front light.
